Education is a journey toward excellence. At North Dallas Adventist Academy (NDAA) our primary purpose is to provide open access to par excellent Christian education for as many students as possible. We accomplish this by seeking spiritual guidance and direction on a daily basis and by keeping abreast of the newest and best approaches to innovative educational instruction.
NDAA began its education ministry, 35 years ago this year, as the Richardson Adventist School (RAS). The one room school was housed adjacent to the fellowship hall with just a handful of students. God honored the dedication of early supporters like Mrs. Olivares, Mr. Don Beck, and others. With the help of committed supporters of the Richardson Seventh-day Adventist Church, the school grew to become the church’s single largest ministry.
As God continued to bless RAS, the school eventually outgrew the church campus with 140 students in pre-kindergarten through 10th grade. Both 11th and 12th grades were added, along with a vibrant international student program, and in 2007 God led Pastor Paul Hunt to a ten-acre property. With buildings requiring only minor adjustments to meet the school’s basic operational needs, North Dallas Adventist Academy (NDAA) officially opened in August 2008 as a full K-12 academy.
By 2015, we had again reached capacity with our student body and began exploring options. In 2017, the Canyon Creek campus was purchased and the 2017 graduation ceremony was held at the new site. Today, North Dallas Adventist Academy continues to operate under full academy status with room for more students to join the NDAA community.
We thank God for continuing to bless this ministry and are looking forward to our next phase of growth. We invite you and your student to become part of our growing family!
