Glorifying God Through Creative Arts
The NDAA Drama Program provides students a creative outlet to express themselves, while also learning the marketing and operational side of the theater business. Upper School students experience the multiple facets of theatre training and are exposed to an array of genres. The program of study develops students at all skill levels, affording each youth to develop their own unique style and delivery.
Students are provided practical experience on stage as well as through classroom instruction. The program gives students the needed foundation for more advanced study in theater and enhances their ability to utilize drama as a witnessing tool both within and outside of their houses of worship.
In addition to creating good work habits, time management skills, and poise in front of people, students learn the important discipline of cooperative learning and performance. Most importantly, we train and encourage young people to glorify God through excellence in the arts.
Options for drama include the After School Drama Club for Middle School (grades 6-8), led by Mr. Jason Stirewalt, and our Drama Class (grades 9-12), directed by Mr. Stephan Gray.
